Using a patient belt allows an end user to ambulate under their own momentum but allows the caregiver to assist if they become unstable by moving closer to the end user and lowering gently to the ground. The Deluxe belt has been designed and manufactured to provide a greater degree of support and comfort for those end users who may still be in a 'recovery' phase or those und users who have skin integrity issues.
Can be used with either two caregivers or asingle caregiver depending on a full risk assessment.
Safety: This is not a patient transfer device as such and should never be used to lift or pull an end user into a standing position. If an end user cannot raise themselves to their feet from a seated position the patient belt should NOT be used. This is a safety device used to assist in the event of momentary instability either from rising from a seated or standing/walking position.
